Goal shy Torres had actually opened his account for the season by pulling Chelsea back to 3-1 down with a well taken goal just minutes into the second half and had this glorious opportunity in the 83rd minute to give Chelsea a chance of grabbing a point at Old Trafford by reducing the deficit to 3-2. Football pundits reckon this miss by Torres was even more embarrassing than Ronnie Rosenthal’s famous one for Liverpool against Aston Villa back in 1992.
